The benefit of the above results is that at least 22 out of 26 students from a poor or disadvantaged background will now be afforded an opportunity to receive access to a quality Secondary school allowing them to develop.

The above results are mainly due to hard work and dedication of the complement of teachers at the school coupled with facilities like a state of the art library presented by the Field-Marsham Foundation in 2012 as well as e-learning facilities.

In addition the Company ensures that the School is well equipped with learning aides, books etc and the providing of boarding facilities for the students from class 5 preparing them from an early stage for this milestone examination.

A function was held on 20 January to celebrate the achievements where awards were made to the top 3 students, most improved student as well as to reward the English teacher, Mrs Caroline Koskei, for achieving position 2 within the County.

In addition a well wisher donated a laptop computer which was awarded to the top student as reward for his overall excellence and consistent performance throughout the year.

The Company confirmed that it will provide full sponsorship to national schools for the top 6 pupils of the 2013 candidate class.

At present, the company sponsors 19 other secondary school students whose parents either work for the Company or are from the surrounding Community.

The day was concluded with refreshments. A celebratory dinner will be held for students, parents and teachers at a later stage.
