Financial support for heart patient
April 13 2014
Susan Kiplagat, daughter of one of the Company’s security employees, was diagnosed with a life threatening heart defect late last year.
Her remaining life span was estimated to be 5 years unless she underwent an operation at a specialized unit in Delhi, India. Following checks and planning through the Field-Marsham Medical Centre, we managed to secure an invitation from the Apollo Medical Centre in Delhi inviting her for an operation to rectify the problem.
She will be accompanied by her mother, Tecla Maina, and they will depart for India on 13 April 2014.
The Company is sponsoring the cost of the air tickets, operation and after care that totals to about 12,000$ (Kes 1 million).
Below are a few pictures with the Managing Director handing over the air tickets and vouchers to Susan in the presence of her parents and the Company’s HR manager, Charles Korir.
